Two Janney Branch Managers Recognized by On Wall Street Magazine

Jimmy McKenna, Branch Manager for the Darien, CT, and Tarrytown, NY, offices and Bob Wincowski, Branch Manager for the Saratoga, Albany, Johnstown and Lake Placid, NY, offices have recently been selected as winners of On Wall Street’s annual Branch Manager Awards

This award – given to only ten branch managers nationwide – recognizes the winners for their achievements in business development and recruiting, dedication to providing and facilitating superior client service, and for their commitment to excellence as leaders to the Financial Consultants and Associates in their offices.  Both Jimmy and Bob will be honored, along with the eight other winners, at an exclusive dinner hosted by On Wall Street in New York City in March.  They will both also featured in the April and May issues of the magazine. 

With over 15 years at Janney and almost 20 years in the industry, Jimmy has transitioned from FC to Branch Manager to Complex Manager with success and integrity.  Jimmy’s dedication to providing quality advice to clients, delivering superior business development support to FCs and branch associates, overall commitment and energy level are second to none.  His tenure at Janney includes establishing and chairing the first Branch Manager Council and graduating from the Janney University Wealth Management Certification Program in 2007 with his Accredited Wealth Management Advisorsm . designation.  Jimmy will be soon be leading his management efforts from the Boston office.

Bob has dedicated his personal and professional lives to an unwavering commitment to service, the former to his community and the latter to his industry, firm and clients.  Of the 27 years he has spent in the financial industry, 16 of them have been spent as a branch manager.  What has and continues to set Bob apart is that he incorporates the word ‘service’ into all of his actions, whether as a mentor and a leader to the members of his branch and branch network or to the members of his community.  Through his tireless efforts and leadership, the branch has participated in and contributed to a number of charitable initiatives, including the St. Catherine’s Center for Children’s Annual Holiday Drive, Parson’s Children and Family Services, Albany County Adopt-a-Family Program, John Walsh’s Child Safety DNA Program and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).  The branch received several awards from the JDRF for its 2007 fundraising activities.
