JANNEY MONTGOMERY SCOTT LLC CONTINUES TO GROW. ANNOUNCES ADDITIONS TO INSURANCE AND FINANCIAL PLANNING DIVISIONS
PHILADELPHIA, PA – March 6, 2007 – Janney Montgomery Scott LLC, one of the nation’s largest fullservice regional securities broker/dealers and one of the oldest in the nation, has announced the appointments of Angela S. Wagner as Senior Estate Planner of the Financial Planning Department and John K. Heuisler as Director of Insurance. Both will be based out of the Philadelphia, PA headquarters.
Christopher Haidinger, Director of Financial Planning, said “Angela and John both bring a tremendous amount of experience that will be of benefit not only to our Financial Consultants as resources but to our clients as well. Having these experts readily available increases the effectiveness of our comprehensive financial planning process and wealth management focus.”
Ms. Wagner holds her undergraduate degree from Drexel University and a law degree from Widener University School of Law. For the past ten years, Ms. Wagner has been in private practice, concentrating in estate planning, trust planning and administration, personal and corporate income tax preparation and tax planning. Ms. Wagner also served as Director of Tax and Estate Planning for Bolton Capital Corporation. She brings additional legal experience from roles with firms Law Office of P.J. DiQuinzio, Esquire, Laverty, Muth,& Reed, P.C. and Gollatz Griffin & Ewing P.C.
In her role at Janney, Ms. Wagner will be responsible for conducting branch visits, drafting estate plans, conducting client meetings to present estate and financial plans, and fielding tax, estate and financial planning questions.
Mr. Heuisler joins Janney from Smith Barney where he served as Vice President and Estate Planning Specialist. Prior to his role with Smith Barney, Mr. Heuisler held a similar position with Merrill Lynch where he was responsible for offices in Stamford, Greenwich and New Haven, Connecticut as well as Providence and Newport, Rhode Island. In dealing with the use of charitable giving for estate and business planning, Mr. Heuisler has held many consulting roles with various charitable organizations.
Mr. Heuisler holds his bachelors degree from Holy Cross College. He also received the designation of Chartered Life Underwriter from the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA and holds insurance licenses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Florida.
In his role at Janney, Mr. Heuisler will be responsible for training and managing the network of External General Agents to ensure the highest professional and ethical service. John will oversee both the areas of life insurance, disability, and long term care insurance. John will also be responsible for providing sales ideas and ensuring the processing of insurance applications are handled efficiently and expediently.
