The Public Finance Department was established nearly 30 years ago in an effort to broaden Janney's financial advisory and investment banking services and to offer our retail and institutional clients greater access to municipal bond products. Since then, we have structured over 1,300 tax-exempt bond issues for a variety of clients in several different focus areas. We offer a wide range of services related to tax-exempt bonds including underwriting, financial advisory and consulting, and we are extremely proud of our strong track record of bond transactions that total more than $65 billion in aggregate par amount since 1980.

Our team of investment banking professionals brings decades of experience, along with a commitment to service and a dedication to structuring bond issues that are financially prudent and responsive to your needs. Additionally, our outstanding network of over 800 retail and institutional financial consultants located along the east coast and in the mid-west provides an enormous bond distribution network for our retail and institutional clients.
