The underwriting of municipal tax-exempt and taxable bond issues is the heart and soul of the Public Finance Department's mission and workload. Each year we manage or co-manage a significant number of bond issues ranging in size from under $1 million to over $1 billion. Since the inception of the Public Finance Department, Janney has acted as the investment banker in over 1,300 municipal transactions totaling over $65 billion in aggregate par amount.
