PROCEDURES FOR ESTABLISHING AUTOMATIC DIRECT DEPOSIT SERVICES

The Automatic Deposit Service is a convenient, quick and safe way for you to regularly transfer cash into your Janney Montgomery Scott brokerage account.

Your deposits are transferred through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system, a nationwide electronic payment and collection network used by banks and other financial institutions, corporations and the federal government.

To establish ACH, you need to contact any institution that you want to electronically transfer funds to your Janney Montgomery Scott brokerage account. Please allow 4-6 weeks for this service to go into effect. Each institution will have instructions that require the following information:

  • Bank name and address to send deposits to:

(Ex. MELLON TRUST OF NEW ENGLAND, BOSTON, MA 02110)  

  • The bank routing number: 011302920
  • Your Janney Montgomery Scott ACH number:
    353000 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ ( Janney Montgomery Scott Account Number)
  • Please advise your institution that your Janney Montgomery Scott brokerage account is a CHECKING, not a savings, account.

Call your Financial Consultant if you are unable to locate your Janney Montgomery Scott Account number.
